Travel Apps for South Korea

If you are travelling to South Korea and don't know Korean, it's recommended that you installed these two apps to help you during your travels. Both these apps should be available on Google Play and Apple Store.

Naver

Google Maps work partially in South Korea. But to get accuracy on public transportation timetables and pedestrian directions, it's best to install Naver. During our travels, we use Google Maps and Naver interchangeably.

The English romaji sometimes doesn't show good results on Naver. We had to copy paste the Korean names from Google Maps.

Papago

Google Translate might not be as accurate as Papago for Korean language.
